Google News Initiative x Okayplayer

I conceived of and have been a key part of developing the Okayplayer Investigative Reporting Project, funded by the Google News Initiative—a digital platform where local journalists can crowdsource funding for stories that matter to their communities.

As the Managing Editor of Fi2W I also produced the award winning Fi2W podcast covering immigration news and culture. Our stories were often repurposed for public radio. Find it on the Fi2W site, iTunes, Podbean.

I was also a guest on Al Jazeera’s, The Stream where I interviewed Danish director Mads Brügger about his controversial film, “The Ambassador.”
